I have been flaring for 4 months. I went on prednisone, 40 mg, + Liaalda and started working with a nutritionist, alternative health guy. He recommends I stay on meds and take supplements, plus a diet of short grain brown rice, white fish, plain chicken, and root vegetables cooked till soft. I have been on this diet for 6 weeks and it seemed to work, unless I cheated. I’ve lost 11 lbs pounds most of it as the Prednisone has been tapered down. Two questions:
1. does this diet sound familiar to anyone and has it worked for them
2. Has anyone had experience losing weigh as they tapered down?I’m so sick of being sick!
