Hi,

I'm having a colonoscopy done on Tuesday morning and i was wondering if it's ok if i mix the pico-salax sachets with apple juice instead of water. It says to mix it with cold water but i've done this prep before and it just tastes awful and makes me wanna throw up :(

Has anybody taken it with something else other than water?

Thanks!

Apple juice is a clear liquid so I don't see why not. Good luck!

I don't see why not. I find PS to be quite tolerable, but of course I'm comparing it to Fleet Phospo Soda. PS is like cool-aid compared to that.

Thanks guys!

The prep itself is usually more scary than the colonoscopy. hehe

Yup, just make sure you get Fentanyl and Versed and you're good to go.
