TP Check Thread;

How much TP is in your house at the moment, and which do you prefer double, or single rolls?

Mega rolls, the Charmin ones. And I usually have at least 6 - 8, any less and I start getting nervous.

Here in Taiwan, we have a different approach to toilet paper. It's very seldom sold in rolls, though you can find that style (but it's mainly meant for use in public bathrooms). What we buy are plastic packages that resemble a box of tissues, and these seem to always be double-ply.

You never know when this very useful information will come in handy.

I use Walmart brand "White Cloud" and its two ply.  If you haven't tried it, it is very soft and reasonably priced.  I use to always use the Cottonell with Aloe and Vitamin E, but found this Walmart brand and found it cheaper, so I switched.

And I always have all bathrooms full of tp and another 24 roll pack in my storage closet.

I never go below 30 or I panic. Double ply. Anyone ever try the baby wipers? I started using them 2 weeks ago when I was prepping for a colonscopy. I had them in the house for when my grandson is here. They are amazing. They are so soft and what a difference from regular toilet paper no matter what ply the toilet paper is. So I have decided that the way to go is Huggies Wipes, not even a store brand because when one is flaring or like me, I don't even know what the word flare means, Huggis is here to stay! They are moist and have aloe and they are so soft. They may cost a little more but my raw hinnie is worth it. Try it some time guys and see if I am right. Happy Memorial Day !

Yes I love the Huggies wipes too! They work so well when your bottom gets really irritated on those bad days.

We buy the 24 roll packs of Cottonelle.  I think we have 24 + another 12 in the closet.  Of course both bathrooms are always stocked with 2-3 in addition to those.  Pretty impressive considering there are only two of us in the household.

Oh and the rule is you can not use TP to blow your nose unless it is a dire emergency.  TP is much too precious a commodity here.
