Hi All,

Have'nt posted here in a long time.  Just wondering have any of ye had problems with teeth while on Remicade.  I have been on it for about 2 years, but have found that my teeth seem to be getting weak, hence more visits to dentist.

Thanks in advance for replies wink

I am not so sure its the medication or if its the disease itself. We have alot of problems with absorption, so I wonder more if thats the cause of our dental problems vs a med. By the way, I have never used Remicade, and I have really weak teeth too.

I had 4 cavities at my last visit and my dentist said lots of medications cause a dry mouth that sets up for tooth decay. I didn't feel like that was my problem but it's a thought.

Bad fissure Feb 2005, still have it January 2006. On Pentasa and Imuran 100mg. Some slight swelling and ulceration of terminal ileum. No other symptoms. Now on Remicade!
