Really interesting article. There are also links to a couple of videos with patient testimonies on the right side of the page.

Also, this Yahoo Group has posts of people who are on the hookworms:

Hookworm therapy is on my list of possibilities. It's taken me several years of thinking about the process to become "okay" with it, but I'm willing to try.

Thanks for the link.

I'm thinking about it myself. One of the members who used to post on here has been on hookworms for over a year now and he's in remission - no symptoms of Crohn's. Even Humira didn't work as well.

The best part is they can now deliver the worms to the US and Canada and the prices of the hookworm are down to $3000 from $5000. Not bad considering they're supposed to last 3-5 years.

I'm sure about using the worms...but I'd love to see my gastro's face if I suggested it!
Diagnosed at 13, am now 38. Bowel resection at 17 and two additional surgeries following bowel obstructions.  Weekly shot of Humira.
Gave birth to a beautiful baby boy on 9-21-2005 after being on Remicade.
