I don't smoke so no advice there. I just wanted to wish you luck!
Maybe you can take up a new hobby to keep your hands busy.
Good Luck!

Just wanted to say good luck--you can do it! I was off food for 8 weeks and did not cheat once. In the US we can't get Modulen so I used another Nestle product called Nutren and drank only water. It was tough, but it's possible, and you will feel a lot better.

Good luck; I know you can do it! Find some distractions (a book, a movie, a walk around the block?). Regarding the toes, I can think of two possibilities offhand, neither serious: athlete's foot or eczema. If it's not bothering you too badly, maybe you can have your GI look at it at your next checkup (unless he considers feet too far out of his area of specialty!).

Keeping my fingers crossed that it will start working for you soon. No Crohn's treatment works for everyone, but it's so frustrating when you don't start seeing improvement.
