Yup my docs knew they were in there but figured we wont bother with them til they bother you.  I began getting strange pain in my groin area on the left side (odd since I only knew I had 4 stones in the right kidney).  I called my PCP to get a UA done just in case I had a UTI (i never have normal symptoms for anything so wouldnt have surprised me).  That came back normal and i was still getting the sharp groin pain with the urge to urinate with each pain.  I noticed my urine was quite dark (even tho there was no blood in it per the test results).  This was the only syumptom I had until late last night when I got the stabbing pain in my back on the right side (this I had suffered with in the past).  this moringing I had to make my typical dash for the restroom, and when finished on the TP (yes had only wiped the front at that point was checking to see if the urine was still really dark) there was a lil brown hard oddly shaped thing which I can only compare to pics online as to being a stone.  I guess I am lucky I didnt suffer the fevers and vomiting that can come along with the passing of a stone

Sounds like you got off a little easier than some folks do. My niece had one and her pain level to me was comparable to when I have obstruction pain. Glad to hear you didn't have to suffer too much.

Well I think the pain level I am just lucky with and I did have to take some of the oxydose pain meds that I use for my CD pain. I am just glad it passed and didnt block this one was maybe about 1 by 2 mm and I believe my largest 1 I know i have id 4 mm. My dr's didnt want to do anything when they discovered them or now all they said was keep drinking water.
