My 8 yr old daughter was recently diagnosed with CD.  I have her on a probiotic, but it seems that there are several different ones to use.  Should she be using Lactobacillus or Saccharomyces Boulardii?  Does anyone know?  I've done some research but can't get a straight answer.  Need advise from the "experts"

Its pretty dependent with what works well for HER.  I take a Lactobacillus probiotic myself and it works well for me.  Some have had success with Align, VSL#3, and others.  Good luck and BIG HUGS to your little one, I hate hearing when the little ones get this darn disease.

Thanks for the tip on Culturelle. It has a highly desirable species of Lactobacillus that I have read about in research literature but never managed to track down a source for. Be sure to get the one that doe NOT have the inulin in it.
