I awoke this morning the sudden urge to rush in to the bathroom. Bad cramping up, and of course D. Got up and took all my morning meds, and just felt tired and drained after that. Which is typical for me after having an episode of D.

Then I went grocery shopping, and felt sore and burning "down there". So I went in to the bathroom, thinking maybe I oozed some D (sorry for details there), and when I wiped it appeared to be redish color. Which scared me, I almost bled to death a few years ago. So any sign of red sends me in a panic.

I'm hoping it was just maybe the lighting in there (had a lot of bile in my D this morning so it wasn't real dark to begin with). Or maybe I'm raw down there, and had a little cut? I'm okay right now it seems, but can't help but worry. Which I know just makes things worse. I just hate bad Crohn's days, I don't need it to say hello! shakehead   Think I'll take a hot bath and soak as I'm still feeling sore now.

I know what you mean when you have a bad day of "D". That is how I felt today, just drained.
How do you know if there is too much bile in your stools?

The bleeding scares me also but It has never been that bad that I need blood transfusion or anything like that.

My doc said that if I waited one hour after I wake up to have breakfast then my morning D would get better, have you tried that?
I am not sure if it works or not :P

Good luck hope this was just some crack in your bottom but not the real thing..

Wolfie40, I can usually tell I've got a lot of bile in my stool because it will have a more yellow look to it. I have no gallbladder so I know my body dumps a lot of it in to my system.

isergodur- That sounds like a good thing to try, mornings have always been bad for me. Today I woke up with D before even getting out of bed, but maybe it was something I ate yesterday.

At least the bath seemed to help, and I'm not bleeding from the looks of it. I've had a few episodes of bleeding that was never much after my major bleed, I know I just panic now!

Jen I am currently in remission, but have those occasional bad days with alot of D. I too do not have a gallbladder and will get the bile poops. I always see a bit of red, it is usually from my hemmoroids getting irritated or from a very small irritation caused from wiping so much. I will also clean the area with some hemmoroid wipes and they help too. I would watch it, but I don't think it is anything to worry about. Good luck!

Thanks Nanners, you are right! I seem to be back to my normal in remission self today. Just wish I could stop the panic every time I see a little red!

The one problem with me after a bad case of "D" is my bum hurts really bad on the inside and I pray I don't have to go again cause it hurts on the way out. Like a burning sensation. I wonder if it is my internal hemmies flaring.
Jen77: I too feel better today and I too wish I could stop worrying.
Glad your feeling better. :-)
