Some of you might have seen this. But, I thought I should post it here. Just in case any of us haven not seen this.

those are pretty mild stories too. sad.
SCD since 01, remission since 01, occasional random junk food breaks :)
No meds ever.

Pretty cool, I'm glad that we are being heard.
Diagnosed with Crohns in 2001
First and hopefully last Ileocecectomy 2/18/2009

Medications: Asacol, Precription Folic Acid, Multivitamin, 1000mg Calcium, Vitamin D, Probiotics,  Monthly B-12 injections.

Living a Great life with my Wife and my two Chocolate Labs
Hunter & Hailey.
I love them dearly.

That was really interesting. I really could relate to almost each of these people. The fears we have, the fear of travel, foods, medications, to tell our friends or not etc. I am glad to see the word getting out more and more.

Been living with Crohn's Disease for 33 years. Currently on Asacol, Prilosec, Estrace, Prinivil, Diltiazem, Percoset prn for pain, Zofran, Phenergan, Probiotics, and Calcium and Xanax as needed. Resections in 2002 and 2005. Also diagnosed with Fibromyalgia and Osteoarthritis and Anxiety. Currently my Crohns is in remission.

It suprised me that I cried through the whole thing. I think I'm just sick and tired of having a chronic disease.
50 yr. old female, diagnosed with Crohn's in small intestine and terminal ileum Sept-Oct. 2007. Also have IBS, and had Salmonella Dec. '07
currently taking Pentasa- 4 500mg pills per day, Metamucil and colace for constipation

it was amazing to hear about other college students with it...makes me feel less alone
Diagnosed 2002(?)
Currently on: alternating doses of 6mp, 8 Asacol, weekly Humira, & 1000mg Canasa nightly
Also: generic Immodium and Levbid
 
Refusing to take pred and humira...(doing a diet/food diary change)
