I have been getting severe headaches/migranes for the past couple of months. My general practioner is not sure what seems to be causing them. We have ruled out stress and tension. I have an appointment with my GI next week and I plan on mentioning my headaches to her. Do you think there is a connection with the Asacol? I started Asacol back in April taking 4 pills 3 times a day.

I take Asacol myself and have not had any problems with headaches, but anything is possible. I took another med Sulfazine (same family) and it gave me bad headaches, so it stands to reason the Asacol might be causing your problems.
