Hi chronnies hope everyone is doing as well as can be expected i have not been on here since last year my healths not great right now had 4 relapses since january so im back to methotrexate injections once again!
thyroids also been playing up now on 50mgs thyroxine!
Having a lot of obgyn problems right now heavy bleeding and it continuing for 2-3 weeks at a time and the 2 weeks b4 it is complete hell so my gynae consultant has reccomended i be admitted to hopspital on the 28th of july for a diagnostic laparoscopy so not exactly sure where i go from there also an endometrial abilation might be performed i guess i will just have to wait and see what they find to tell you the truth im past caring ive been in bed since january i have been up and about but a couple of days later im always bedded for one thing or another!
All i want is some normality to return to my life at times i think im going to die in my bed lol!so here we go again love the pre med though lol!

has anyone here had the gynae diagnostic laparoscopy performed?and the endometrial abilation?if so how many incisions did you have because when i was discussing the incisions they would prefer not to cut the same cut where your navel is where the resection was performed thats why i wa asking where the incisions were if you have had one and hve already had a laparoscopy resection!

I have to be admitted the day b4 as far as im away i am a day patient bit concerned slightly heres hoping i dont have cathers etc etc with this surgery.

I had to have a laprascope once because my menstrual time became so miserable for me. It was 3 small little holes to get the scope thru. It wasn't too bad and my recovery was just a few days. The worst part was the gas they used to blow the stomach up. It was painful up in my shoulders. Good luck!

I have not had the laparoscopy but I did have an endometrial ablation. I had it for constant bleeding throughout the month, every day. It was not super heavy, but it was super painful nearly like labor pain. The ablation is quick and simple and requires not incisions at all. It is done vaginally. I had it about 2 1/2 years ago and I now have no more bleeding or pain at all.
