HELP HELP HELP>

I started having diarrhea that would not go away and was diagnosed very quickly with MC but am having pain all through the abdominal track...  Is this normal with MC??  and the Stomach distention??  I started on Endocort last week and it helped the D but I still feel tierd, nervous and swollen..  I just thought all this was because my Dad passed away on May 5th and/or premenopause, maybe from stress??  I just don't know what to think.  Is this normal, because I do not feel normal...

Hi Smeagle,

I am really sad for your recent loss. God bless you and your family, my thoughts are with you. Smeagle, MC is a strange one to deal with. What type of tests where carried out on you? With MC, it is my understanding that there are not many symptoms to it, and infact, they mostly go un-noticed. Please advise of the tests carried out...

Sorry to hear of your loss. You are quite right about the stress and worries being a factor. Stress directly impacts the gut, making it more sensitive and worsening existing inflammation. In case your doctor did not give you much info on your problem, you might want to look at: MedicineNet.com The page heading is "Lymphocytic Colitis", but that is one form of microscopic colitis.
