Just wondered if anyone had any problems after a Ba Meal/Small Bowel Meal. Was feeling much better on messalazine and budesonide, had this investigation friday and now feel that my pain is back to square one, also some blood in my stool. See the nurse in 2 weeks for results but think I will have to contact her monday. Just wondered if anyone had the same symptoms after their test. Its still all new to me 30 years old, unconfirmed diagnosis 2 months ago.

I usually feel pretty crappy after any barium tests until it works it way thru. I would recommend drinking LOTS of water to flush that gunk out of you.

Good Lordy, that stuff is toxic. No matter how good I feel going in for any barium test, I will feel like crap for days after. It is just so hard on your system. I hope you feel better soon.

Managing with strict low residue diet, keeping symptoms to a minimum. All test show small amount of ulceration, still have occasional blockages. But still have a great time with my 2 daughters and husband!
