Hi folks- anyone here have any experience with their colo-rectal surgery department? I have an appt. in early August to meet with a doctor there, I believe she's the head of the colo-rectal surgical dept, to discuss getting a fistula repaired. I've been to the GI Dept. for a consult, which I was very impressed with. I normally post on the UC forum, but the CD one has a much higher concentration of people with fistula experience. Any info would be helpful! Thanks!

No experience with the Colo-Rectal surgery Dept, but I see a doctor in the GI Dept. Just wanted to say HI from another MA girl! Good luck with your appt.

Managing with strict low residue diet, keeping symptoms to a minimum. All test show small amount of ulceration, still have occasional blockages. But still have a great time with my 2 daughters and husband!

Thanks for the good wishes, fellow Mass. resident! I really liked their GI Dept.- I met with Dr. Mark Peppercorn & he was fabulous. I'm hoping I have the same good results with the colo-rectal surgery dept. My regular GI really touts them, BIDMC & Lahey Clinic are his faves for surgery.
