I was on a double dose of Apriso for about a month.  I was noticing that it may have caused me more grief than it was worth.  Last night I was due to take the 4 pills and I fell asleep.  I woke up without any belly pain.  Today I felt so good I didn't take it again.  Again no pain and the best of all, no BMs!  Going from 6 a day to none is pretty cool.

The doc said to do the double dose to achieve remission and then go to the single dose.  I'm going to call him tomorrow to get some more info but I think I may be able to go with the regular dose now.  I'm also on entocort.

update:

2 times yesterday after a big dinner.  Yeah, TMI but it's better than 6 times!

This morning again I woke up with some minor cramps but nothing.

I'm hoping the entocort is doing the trick.

That would be great if you could reduce your meds. Just be careful.
