The last couple weeks I have been having annoying pains in my stomach; mostly right below my bellybutton, but it does happen all over. My back is also hurting.  It seems feel like HUGE gas bubbles, that like blow up...then go back down, like waves. If I roll from side to side while in bed the pain shifts to whatever side Im on....so Ive been sleeping on my back which I hate! Also pain when eating, not HORRIBLE blockage pains, but the same gas bubble feeling.  My stools are bright yellow, and hardly any of my food is being broken down when they pass.  I had C Diff not too long ago, I was treated and it went away.  I also had to come off of 100mg of Imuran back down to 50mg because of nausea.  I did a small Prednisone burst a couple weeks ago, got no relief.  Wondering if the C Diff is back, the yellow stools give me that impression, or if its the Imuran....or just something else all together.  I have a GI appointment on the 7th, I was thinking about asking him if I could get a colonoscopy just to see what the heck is going on in there, I havent had one since my last resection surgery in Sept.     Any thoughts?

UPDATE:

Saw the GI yesterday, had some blood work and stool sample tests. C-diff is back, he put me on Flagyl for a month, and also put me on a good probitoic, he said the antibiotics im taking wont kill this probiotic, and if I wish he will continue to prescribe it to me for as long as Id like.  Sucks its c-diff but glad Im getting treatment for it. He said you could get it from eating meats (never knew that!) He also told me it cant be killed by freezing or cooking the meat either. I also learned that most babys get c-diff but usually never get sick from it, the parents do from changing diapers.  He was actually ON TIME too, usually Im waiting 2-3 hours in the office...so nice. lol.

The color of the stool says either bacterial, like c-diff, or gallbladder in my unprofessional opinion. You might want to google gallbladder attack symptoms. I personally would lean toward your original instinct in that something bacterial is amiss though. That much gas screams "out-of-wack" to me too.
27f, dx'd CD July '05 after 6 fistula/abscess surgeries
Remicade '05 through '08, with no other maintenance meds (ah, those were the days, eh?)
Tried Humira. Failed. Tried Gluten Free. Leaning towards Failure there too.
Currently on:
Cimzia (started 2-12-09) Again, not helping much, if at all.
Probiotics, Digestive Enzymes, Forvia vitamins, and calcium chewies
Feeling a bit jaded lately, but trying to keep my chin up.

hmmm. . .sure it's not a blockage or fistula? We all hate those CT scans but it sounds like you need one. Please call the doc. In the meantime, how about lots of liquids and a heating pad? Keep us posted.

I have an abdominal fistula right now. Ive had it for several months, its never given me any pain besides when it broke through.  Im really concerened if it is C Diff, will having this fistula effect it? Or make it an ongoing thing and just keep re-infecting myself with it because I do have to pack the fistula daily.  Everything is sterile that I use, including my hands (I use surgeons soap). Something just doesnt sound good about C Diff + abdominal fistula. Blah, seriously when is this going to end! ~sad puppy dog eyes~ haha.

Yellow stools sounds like a discussion for your doctor! I've been on Imuran for almost 7 years and have never once had yellow stools so I do not think that is what your issue is.
