I have'nt been posting much lately, reason being - my home has turned into a makeshift hospital ward - over dramatic but thats how it feels to me :-)
There are three adults and three of my four children still at home so thats the six of us and one by one the past few months someone has had the flu only to get a second dose down the track. As of Thursday we now have a lovely vomiting/diarrhea bug going through the youngest child and my mother.
I feel like bombing my house with hospital disinfectant!
We have been diligent with hygiene, to the point of having our own cups/crockery/cutlery to use and am literally cleaning with bleach/ disinfectant but sheesh this seems never ending.
To top it off my CD and AS have decided to join the flu party and give me hell too.
All this and my brother had his first baby 21st June and we are unable to see him due to being sick - I cant wait to hold him! I joke he will be walking by the time we get to see him :-)
Anyway rant done, thanks to anyone who bothers to read this smilewinkgrin   - it made me feel better anyway.
Hope everyone else is doing good
Jo

(((Jo)))

What a horror scenario. Apart from anything else, the rest of the family is hogging the bathroom... You poor thing. I feel for you.

Haha - Ivy - true about the bathroom. although my 9 year old son made it out to the grass area to vomit (he was near the backdoor when he felt the urge) and the Labrador decided to get in his line of fire UGH - I laugh now but at the time the son was distressed he hit the dog and the dog was glad to be getting a nice warm soapy bath in winter - I thought, someday I will find this funny!

My sister's house had the swine flu and she was told to wash all the dishes in hot bleach water and she had to laundry all clothes and bedding dailey. She had to wipe everything with bleach water and everyone had there own set of dishes.
They all had to take pills and everything was better in 7 days.

Good luck, sorry to hear about your misfortunes.

Awww Jo, your poor family. A friend at work has had her family go thru about 3 different rounds of cold/flu over the past couple of months. Its like one gets it and spreads it until it goes thru the whole family, then starts all over again. Hope things get better for you all soon. Hugs!
