I posted a week ago or so asking causes of nausea since it's a new symptom for me.  (ick, I hate new sypmtoms!)  Last night I went to sleep and woke a couple hours into the night (2am) with vomit in my mouth.  I ran to the bathroom to throw up, but it didn't happen.  (thought about forcing it, but double-ick...  I hate that)  I checked that I hadn't vomited on my pillow and not noticed.  I had not...  I guess I woke at the start of it but it scared me.  I was terrified to go back to sleep for fear of choking.  (Silly, but I couldn't help it.)
The doc started me on phenergan Friday.  Fortunately, it doesn't make me loopy or sleepy.  And, it seems to help.  But, it doesn't take it away completely, just makes it tolerable.  So I took one of those when I woke this way at 2am.
I have a scope scheduled for 8/10 and my doc is out of town right now.  He's got other docs and his LPN ready to handle me should I need it.  But, I don't know that I should try to get in sooner.
I guess I don't know what I'm hoping for from posting, but it scared and upset me, so I figured sharing with people who really understand couldn't hurt!

Maybe it was reflux.  Try taking some pepcid and not eating or drinking for a couple of hours before you lie down.

Remicade and 6MP
