Yeah. I did TPN once, and started bleeding etc again the day they ripped out the tube. I cried and cried and cried; there are times when life just isn't fair, because you've *worked* for better health, Conkers, and you deserve it.
Imuran is a fairly common drug for Crohn's. It's a long time since I've been on it myself (I reacted to it eventually and am on methotrexate now) but my memory is that they tend to monitor your blood quite intensively for the first few months, just to make sure the medication isn't harming you, and then they'll back off and only do blood tests every now and then.
Try not to be too frightened about
the Imuran. I know it sounds terrifying, but most drug info sheets are pretty scary
... and this medication might really help you, and might even send you into remission.
