Hello again!

I have another surgery question. For the ladies who have ever had a c section is a bowel resection recovery similar or totally different?

Thank you all so much! I have surgery on Monday! I will start to get TPN tonight thru out the whole weekend. Pretty scared but I have read alot of your stories on here and just hope it makes me better in the end!
DX in 2007. Was on Asacol for almost 2 years and the Entocort for 6 months. That has now stopped working so currently on Prednisone while trying to get up the courage to take Remicade.

No it is totally different. Your C-section scar is like a bikini cut, very low. I have had 2 open resections and my scar goes up and down the middle of my abdomin and is about 6 inches long. If you are having it lap you will have a couple of small incisions and then one slightly larger incision. Hopefully, someone who has had it done via lap will be along soon. Hope your surgery brings you to a loooonnnnngggg remission.
