I just watched the Sex & the City movie a couple of days ago, and I immediately thought of myself and the other crohnnies out there that have experienced what Charlotte went through in Mexico. lol  Even though she's a fictional character, if it happened to her and she lived through it, then there's hope for all of us who have the unfortunate "accident". tongue

Oh god yeh I totally related to that, made me happy in a weird way as it reminds you that even "normal" people have to suffer the humiliation every so often. I've been very fortunate my accidents rarely happen outside the house, bit of TMI but my worst one was in a que for a NIGHTCLUB! It was just before I started flaring last so had no idea I was sickening for something, combine that with a bit of alcohol and......yeh. I also happened to be wearing a mini-dress with totally unsuitable underwear meaning no protection so it was everywhere. I literally had to turn and run as fast as I could and dive in a cab and go home, I really spooked my friends I text them and told them I'd forgotten my ID so just ran home to get it, amazingly no-one noticed I had fears that I was going to become known as "the girl who ran down club street with poo down her legs"........needless to say since that I REALLY prepare for nights out!!

That is why the best vacation spots for us are the places squatting and pooping anywhere are considered normal :)
SCD since 01, remission since 01, occasional random junk food breaks :)

I loved that scene!

But I've been to Cuba 3 times and my crohn's did me good for a 7 week stay. Yes a week or 2 later from coming home end up in a flare and having to go to the ER but not sure it's related since I get bad flares every 2 months and end up in the ER like on my bday yesterday and the last 3 years! (still feeling yuck)

24 year old woman. Crohn's all my life but diagnosed at age 18.Been on prednisone 8 times. which they will not give me anymore(doesn't work for me)I am on Prevacide for the ulcers I get in the stomach, pantesa. I've been on and off imuran, entocort, number of others I can think of. I have cronh's in the small bowel, colon, stomach. Since Nov 08 I've been suffering from RA which is just as bad as CD. haven't been able to work for the last 2 years. Awaiting to start Humira since being on Remicade for 1 year 4 months that no longer works.Hoping to get my life back with Humira.
