feeling crummy; need a 'pick me up'

hello all,
 
i have been feeling pretty crummy lately and i just might die if i spend another day curled up on the couch. any advice for a 'pick me up.'

I am so sorry you are feeling so bad. Have you tried going on a liquid diet for a few days to see if it might help? I usually try that for a few days and then slowly start adding things back into my diet. Might help.............

These are pretty funny...and rather witty most of the time.

I agree on the liquid diet. Try finding some things to help soothe your frame of mind as well like a good book or music that you like. Make sure and take time out for just YOU, you know??
20 years old, Diagnosed with moderate to severe Crohn's and Colitis in May of 2008.
Currently taking: Prednisone 10 mg, pentasa 2 pills 4x a day, bentyl as needed, omeprazole in the morning, prenatal multivitamin, humira every other week, and Align probiotics prescribed by my GI.
Diet almost completely without refined sugars, wheat, flour, gluten, high lactose dairy, and/or junk food in general.

go out side and get some fresh air, take a bubble bath, meditation.... hope u feel better

When I feel as you do...Sometimes I force myself out in the sun. I sit or stand for a few minutes. I look at everything with all senses. I see the quail running, I see the hummingbirds perform in the air, I look at the flowers and all the bees that are busy with them. I cheers me up for a bit...and gives me something to hold on when I feel real down (as in pain, the V&D, and drained)...

I force myself to get up and go outside. I start feeling betterafter that.
Diagnosed with Crohns in 2001
First and hopefully last Ileocecectomy 2/18/2009

Medications: Asacol, Precription Folic Acid, Multivitamin, 1000mg Calcium, Vitamin D, Probiotics, Protonix,  Monthly B-12 injections.

Living a Great life with my Wife and my two Chocolate Labs
Hunter & Hailey.
I love them dearly.
