I've put on over 30 lbs since staring biologics & it all seems to be in my belly, which is also bloated all of the time.  I have to buy pants that are baggy everywhere else just to make them fit over my gut.  Have any of you ladies tried maternity pants?  I was thinking if those would be more comfortable.  Maybe I can pick up a cheap trial pair at Target & see how they work out for me.  I've ordered a couple of stretchy skirts from Lands End that don't have a waistband, hopefully those will work out.

Xraygirl,

You are not alone. I think thats just the way it is for us Crohnies to always have the big bellies and be thinner every where else. I can't wear the elastic waist stuff as all it does is give me a bad stomach ache. Funny you say has anyone tried maternity pants, I have a few shirts that are actually maternity shirts. I always wear baggier shirts to cover my belly.
