Is it strange that I'm looking forward to it?  Too much pressure, pain, fluid, discomfort.  I've got a knot in my back from sitting and lying down funny.  It hasn't been fun.  I have a very good surgeon so it's actually something I'm glad is happening.  I've been in pain for two weeks.  I'm getting tired of living off of pain pills.

Next tuesday.  He wanted to get me in tomorrow morning, I guess these things are that simple.  Last seton did me a world of good, but a new friend 'moved in' next door (on the right side of the anus) so it's been getting worse.  I was getting really frustrated, but you know, I'm excited to know that he knows what the problem is, there is a solution, and I'm going to be fine.

Whew.

Well I guess your one was lonely! Poor thing! No wonder it got cranky. Maybe it will be happy now that it has company!

Take care.

That's funny, I should have figured the little guy needed a friend. Well, I still am looking forward to it. My wife just finished the bar exam, and that tuesday is her second day of work. I convinced her to still work, doesn't feel like that big of a deal. I have one of the best surgeons in the country apparently, so that makes it easier. Can't wait to not have all this pressure to sit on. Double negative I know, y'all understand.

I'll keep everyone posted!!
I am a pre-30yr. old who has been diagnosed with Crohn's for 14 years.  Symptoms change from cramping and weight loss to severe anemia with fatigue and diarrhea.
100mg mecaptopurine, 40mg Prednisone, Darvocet for dessert.  Starting Cimzia this week (fingers crossed).

I totally understand. Who knew these little pieces of plastic could be so wonderful! You have to let me know what color you new friend is! And give him/her a warm welcome to the family.

(everybody probably thinks this is crazy, but I assure you, setons can really relieve the pain and infection)
