LOL!!! We do it ourselves all the time, don't we? What sucks for me is I am married to Mexican and most does agree with me, but I will tell you Taco Bell doesn't. I can eat the homemade Mexican food without much problem (more natural), but when I go for the fast food, it does me in everytime. But we start thinking oh I can handle it no problem, then we pay for days afterwards. Hope you are feeling better soon.

You know, I just did that with a Five Guys cheeseburger and fries. They accidentally added an extra patty on it too so, you know, maybe not a good idea if they were trying to be nice (bless them).
Sorry that happened...most people get reminded by nagging from their family or doctor. We get reminded by being glued to the latrine and several days of unbelievable pain.

Currently taking: Prednisone 5 mg, pentasa 2 pills 4x a day, omeprazole in the morning, and a women's multivitamin. I'm also trying a B vitamin complex, but it doesn't seem to be working so I'm considering the shots.
Diet almost completely without refined sugars, wheat, flour, gluten, high lactose dairy, and/or junk food in general.

LOL I consider myself very lucky, I can still eat as much fast food/Taco Bell as I want, as long as I didn't have really bad pain/nausea before I started eating it, I won't have any after, either. Popcorn is really the only thing that gives me a hard time. I think I'd go nuts without being able to clog my arteries sometimes (okay, a lot, hahaha).

I doubt McDonalds or Taco Bell have considered this as a new marketing campaign. "Constipated? Eat our food!" or "Our food is a colon cleaner in a bag!" or "Burrito lightening!"
Diagnosed with Crohn's in early 2007.  Several peri-rectal abscesses and two fistulae with setons.  Allergic to Remicade and Humira.  Currently on 6MP, and vitamins D and B-12.

Ha! A Nacho Supreme w/o sour cream and a Senior Pepsi = $1.79 and no problems for me. Just the yummies! Of course, it that were a Coke instead of second class Pepsi ...... I try not to look a gift horse in the mouth so I just munch, sip and enjoy.

It helps that there isn't a Taco Bell real close to us so I don't get to splurge that often that I've had any problems.

Im jealous! Our local Taco Bell was inside our KFC and they closed the Taco Bell part but kept the KFC (wish it was the other way around). I dont even know if there is one in Sydney anymore! I do miss it though :(

I used to work at Taco Bell and now cannot eat it, but I will say I can eat Taco Bueno. Not sure why, but it will not make me wish I had not.

Ha, that was the funniest thing I've read all day!

I can get away with Taco Bell if I stick to the tacos.
But, I can sympathize with you, in a way, I barbecued up a bunch of corn the other night, and enjoyed it way too much. I'm paying for it now with hideous gut pain. Must be all that corn trying to get through the stricture. I guess I'll never learn.

taco bell is notorious for making people sick. When I was a kid we would all go there and the next day half of us would have issues.
SCD since 01, remission since 01, occasional random junk food breaks :)
No meds ever.

I love your story.  It made my day!!  Fortunately for me, I do okay with Taco Bell - if I don't over-due it.  I usually just eat one chicken burrito from the value menu and call it good.  I'm pretty much like that with just about everything.  "Moderation in all things".  of course for me, that means just a little bit because once I start eating anything, I usually can't eat more than a little bit due to sudden onset of stomach fullness and pain.  Live and learn right?  You have to admit though, sometimes it is worth eating something even if you do know what the consequences are.   ha ha
