cry  Just when I thought I was getting better and going back into remission after 2-weeks of feeling pretty good, I'm back to the same old symptoms I had a couple of months ago.  Constant feeling of needing to go to the bathroom but nothing but bloody mucous and sometimes a little bit of stool.  I don't know why, but it just made me cry but then I'm at work so I have to not cry and just suck it up like I do every other day.  This is really wearing on my emotions and makes me all anxious and worried that it's something more serious than just my regular crohns symptoms.

Thanks for listening.  You people are always great about making me feel better when I read your different comments and realize that I'm just a whimp compared to what most of you are going through.  I'm feeling better already.

You know sometimes we will get symptoms that really aren't flares but the result of eating the wrong thing or even too much stress. Lets just hope this is a bad day(s) and you get feeling better soon.

Don't feel like a wimp. It's difficult to deal with digestive issues. And it's especially disheartening when you feel better for a while and then the old symptoms reappear. That happens to me with my IBS. I can feel good for weeks, sometimes even months; then out of the blue I start feeling poorly. It can be depressing.

As Gail said, it may just be something you ate or stress. Since I retired, I have a lot less stress in my life which has helped my condition.

Try not to worry, and I hope you feel better.

If there is one thing I have learned in all my years of dealing with this DD its that we just don't know diddly about why some days we feel like C&*p. You may have a bit of a bug, you may have eaten something, you may have a bit more stress, you may not have gotten enough REM sleep, or you may have a bit of a flare. Who knows. But you never have to feel like a whimp here. Just feel free to vent a way. We all have times when we feel down or just plain sick of being sick and wonder why. So take a moment, have a little pity party and then carry on. Hope you feel better soon and its just one of those days.

If it makes you feel any better I cried really hard more than a few times in the past month (crohn's related). And I'm one of those men that never ever cries ever (last time I cried was like 5 years ago when my dog died). So don't feel bad about crying at all, it tends to happen to the best of us.

I'm feeling the same. Not sure what's wrong since it's never been like this before. I'm under so much stress for so long now that it doesn't surprise me I'm doing so poorly, but we can't tell if it's my cd or something else. I'm juggling 2 new jobs and this is like the worst timing ever. I don't even have time to really feel sorry for myself but I do want to just have a tantrum or something and get it out of my system. I guess I've been lucky that up til recently I've not had difficulty getting my flares under control. Now I'm just worried it's not going to ever get better.

I'm always so inspired by those here who've been down a much harder road with this than me and lived to tell. They give me hope. But I also feel like a wimp in comparison so I totally get where you are coming from. Hope it helps to know you are not alone. And I hope that things improve for you soon. Hang in there.
