Hi! I have had..a few post on here...and i was a nervous wreck about getting a seton. Well my surgery was successful and now we just have to wait for the inflammation to go down to see how deep it is in the muscle..or is it superficial. Thanks to those who answered my questions..i appreciate your support i really do...and now..i have a very red like fire engine red seton!

Ooooh, I've never had a red one. Mine have only ever been yellow or blue. Enjoy your latest fashion accessory!

I'm glad to know the surgery was a success.

How wonderful! I am so glad it went well! Both of mine are fire engine red too. But whatever the color, we are all seton sisters!

smurf  Yes..seton sisters 4life! It does hurt the like a....the first time you go the bathroom...funny thing is..i could hear that the man in the bed next to me had a fistula and got a seton as well...i wanted to go over their and be his friend and tell him "You are not alone"! I could hear the doctor talking to him...funny story...the stuff they gave me to knock me out made me say funny things to the doctors and the nurse..i told the nurse's i loved them all and want them to get a raise...and i told my doctor their was two of him and  made fun of him in his scrubs and told him he is wearing "his urban street gear" and that he is pimpin now lol! God only knows what else i said..but i remember something about margharitas...lol...i remember the nurses saying something like i can be their spokesperson! who knew drugs could make me so funny!

I am not surprised it hurts, but it will fade -- hopefully soon!  They clean things out during the procedure, so the area might feel a little abused right now.  Give it several days.

Yes, he is now part of our club!  Seton Sisters and Fistula Fellows!  We are very special people.  We have a fashionable body piercing that they don't have.   tongue
