I'm a little worried cause it (the pred) makes me feel well really fast. I'm scared my stricture may get smaller or something after healing and I might get a (partial) obstruction or something and not know it until the last minute.

Pred should, by proxy, relieve pain. It reduces inflammation which is usually what causes pain. If you had an obstruction, you'd definitely know it.
Diagnosed with CD July 2007
Currently on Remicade, Imuran, probiotics, folic acid, multivitamin.

That is very normal for Pred to make you feel better quickly. They say it works like a laser guided missile and goes right to the inflammation and tamps it down quickly. I do not believe it will cause you to obstruct. In fact, may help to advert one.

Good luck!

LOL, pred always makes me go a loose stool literally the first thing when I wake up in the morning. Almost have to rush to the potty to get there in time. I really miss pred sometimes although, now I know why I was still sore a lot even when taking it. But wow, it should just help get the inflammation around that stricture way down. And sometimes that can help positively. I wouldn't worry too much. I will say this: eat a banana a day while on pred. It always made me get sore shins which my mom (long time on and off pred...sometimes years) told me is caused by a loss of potassium while on the steroid. Taking more water and eating a whole potato or a banana a day seriously helped cut down the sore shin...actually made the soreness vanish. That's the only warning besides get your calcium in too.
