Wow! That's incredible. And you were here, a few weeks ago, saying that you wanted a way to have your voice be heard...

Seriously, that's amazing. I don't want to get too theological on the forum, but I have goosebumps.

Good luck - will you tell us how it goes?

Ivy.

Excellent! Make the most of this opportunity! Don't be shy.
27 Year old married female.  Graduated law school this year and waiting for results of the bar exam.  Start a new job sometime in September.  Diagnosed w/ CD 4 years ago, IBS for over 10 years before that, which was probably the CD. I am sort of lactose intollerant too but can handle anything cultured and do well w/ lactose pills and lactaid. For crohns I am currently on Pentasa 4 pills/4x day and hysociamine prn. I also have bad acid reflux and have been on PPI's since age 13. I have been through prilosec, prevacid, and nexium. Currently I am on Protonix in the morning and Zantac at night.  I take xanax prn for situational anxiety (aka no easy bathroom access).

Way to go!!!! I have always said that talking about CD will one day bring recognition to this disease and all that we go through and ultimately that will lead to more research and more funding for medicines and the like. So you go out there and be proud of all you have done and give your wife a great big shout out but don't under play all you have gone through too.

That is wonderful!! Esp because there are so many people out there who have either never heard of CD or don't have any idea about the debilitating aspects of it... hopefully this will help to open eyes.
