Having suffered with this disease/symptoms since I was about 13, I decided to try something new today. I did what I did when I was much younger.I pushed it to the limit. I drank a liter of h2o,and went for a jog. Yes I Did!!! My body feels no better, yet my mind does!!And that is very important to me. I do not recommend this for anyone over 50,like myself without consulting a doctor!!

Thanks, it wasn't much. I had messy jogging shorts, and a burning, slow healing perianal abscess! But the mind is better.

I try to do that everyday. Just push myself to do a little more than I probably should. You are right, its probably not good for the body, but so good for the spirit!!!

Managing with strict low residue diet, keeping symptoms to a minimum. All test show small amount of ulceration, still have occasional blockages. But still have a great time with my 2 daughters and husband!

Good on you Mary Lynn!!! It's surprising what 'normal' people take for granted and what us 'Crohnies' find a major achievement. I think you jogging is classified as a major achievemnt in my book!
