hi all,

Having some pain on my left side (where the anastomosis (sp?) is.  I have recently moved to Oregon and finally got on medicare thru disability.  My exhusbands insurance which I still had was not accepted out here.  I see a new primary Dr on the 2nd.  I typically take my Hunira 1 time per week with the exception of if I am sick or think i may be ill.  I had to go to a dentist this week since I have a wisdom tooth bothering me and being afraid I had an infectio I didnt use the med.  I have gained about 10 pounds since I have been out here (which I hate) but I am at the point where it even hurts me when I walk around.  I went to the local ER 2 times since I have been here 1 was for the CD (they asked me well what do u normally do...HELLO i didnt go to medical school...the other time I was suffering from kidney stone pain they gave me 2 percoset and sent me packing.

Hey Stef,

Do you think its the Crohns causing the pain, or do you think it could be the kidney stone?  I would suggest if you can't see a doctor soon, then go to another ER and see if they will treat you better.

good luck!

All of my kidney stones that have been seen through the years have been on my right side this pain is in fact on the left. It is in the area that they reconnected me. The pain has let up a bit today yet it is still there. It seemed last night that when I would pass gas it let up some and was more tolerable. The pain has not fully subsided tho even after having a BM or passing gas

Hi. You have something there, inflammation, blockage, or you tore your connection site,,I never thought my connection was very good and could feel it. I eventually had to get everything removed because it leaked. Sorry to go through my history but definitely have it repaired because my opinion is that it wont go away. On the other hand, if you gained weight this is a great sign, and maybe you can get some relief by relaxing and then exercise and relaxing again to work out the gas that I belief is not completely out yet. It shows your reversal in 2007 so thats pretty good for reconnection time before that area begins to be problematic, perhaps others can comment, The consequences for not repairing the leak if it is one,, is surgery beyond that which is needed for the repair. get out and enjoy sunshine (sun is good for 'dissolving' the area) and have em take a look on 2nd.
