Not sure what I need now. Feel so alone. There are very very few constants in my life. I get my single serving friends. My body has created the conditions for my incarceration in my house. I want more! I WANT TO BE MORE! But more than that, I want to feel human. I want parole!

I hate this...I hope you know that all of us would be there in a heart beat if we were closer. I know that I would..is there anyone close to you that you can talk to every now and again at least?
Maybe find something you enjoy like a good book or music? I love reading Banana Yoshimoto when I'm not well. 'Goodbye Tsugumi' strikes home especially because one of the the main characters is dealing with a lifelong illness, but she is so feisty and it kind of perks you up.
Please, vent away if that's what you need right now. You'll be in my thoughts.

*huge hug*

Would you like to tell us more about what you're dealing with? Maybe we can help more, if we know exactly what has happened...

*another hug* I haven't forgotten that I owe you an email...

thanks for the replies...I was just mainly venting...however, the stench of lonliness has been creeping into my mind. My world consists for my husband and my father, and I'm home alone most of the days by myself. I don't get to see many of my friends anymore...they have kinda vanished little by little over time. The crux of the matter is that I don't want people to see me like this, but yet, stupidly so, I want company, someone to come over and say hi! The little gestures...those count the most.

It's also entirely possible that I just have the weepies.

I understand completely...I can't even keep track of how much time I have felt like this.
And people don't understand or are uncomfortable so they respond in the worst possible way by avoiding you..
My heart seriously goes out to you. This is just one more really depressing aspect of this disease for sure. The loneliness will pass though...I just wish we could be there to comfort you.

(((((((((((((((HUGS))))))))))))

Depression can stem from having crohn's, if you are feeling depressed or think you're on your way to it please talk to a counselor because it can get out of control, I know exactly how you feel (was there for a long time), I started exercising and that brought me out of my funk, that and feeling better health wise but it's scary to feel the way you're feeling.

You are most definitely not alone, it may feel like you are but every outlet counts and we are all here for you.

I'm at home by myself during the day (it doesn't bother me, never has) but for some people it's a struggle, I do have a cat, a very affectionate cat and she makes the world of difference, plus I keep myself busy with exercising on a daily basis. Healingwell also comes in handy for helping me deal emotionally with this DD.
