As you might have seen, we've just had *another* sneaky spammer on the forum. rolleyes

I know it's really, really, tempting to write them a nasty comment... but I (and, I think, the other mods) would really appreciate it if you could also:

1. Make a copy of the spammer's post
2. Click on the yellow ! above the spam post. This will allow you to let Peter know that there is a spammer on the forum.
3. In the alert query box, please write "spam on the Crohn's forum", and then paste in your copy of the spam email, so Peter can see it.
4. Click "submit".

Voila! An alert has been sent, and Peter should be able to ban the spammer asap.

If you want the spam to be gone even more quickly than that, you might ALSO like to start a new thread with a title along the lines of "Attention Moderators". Tell us that there's a spammer on the forum, include a URL for the thread where we can find the spam, and then one of us will hunt the spammer down and start editing / deleting.

Remember, though, Mods can only edit and delete: they can't ban spammers. So, if you want the spammer gone asap, send Peter an alert, and *then* make a new thread to tell the Mods that there's spam on the forum. If you take this two-pronged approach, the spam should be spaminated tongue much more quickly.

Thanks again,

Ivy.

27 Year old married female.  Graduated law school this year and waiting for results of the bar exam.  Start a new job sometime in September.  Diagnosed w/ CD 4 years ago, IBS for over 10 years before that, which was probably the CD. I am sort of lactose intollerant too but can handle anything cultured and do well w/ lactose pills and lactaid. For crohns I am currently on Pentasa 4 pills/4x day and hysociamine prn. I also have bad acid reflux and have been on PPI's since age 13. I have been through prilosec, prevacid, and nexium. Currently I am on Protonix in the morning and Zantac at night.  I take xanax prn for situational anxiety (aka no easy bathroom access).
