Well, haven't been here for a lonnnngggg time. Want to just get on with my life and not think about all this stuff. Had my disability hearing last week after waiting for a couple years. Wasn't thinking it was much worth going as I was sure, and still could be, denied once again. However, their expert medical doctor ended up testifying that on top of the Crohn's I also have AS and I am not able to work full time. Apparently it is in my medical history but none of my doctors have ever told me. Well, at least I know I am not crazy, at least not as crazy as I thought I was. In the end the medical expert was the only one to testify as the judge only asked me about three questions and didn't ask my attorney or rehabilitation expert anything. Not at all what I was expecting but I'm not going to complain. I guess I will find out within 30 days. Though some of you might be interested.

Sending good thoughts that you get the disability. Funny thing is I just got a handicap pass, as walking too much causes me alot of pain. But when I got the paper the doctor needed to complete for me to get the pass it listed "spondylarthropy" which is part of the AS family. Funny how they don't tell you this stuff. Good luck!
