Hi f/c,

If you have time, might you be able to tell me a little more about the small squirty bottle you carry for washing your fistula, please?

I've asked my doctor; I've asked my pharmacist; I've looked in the baby section at Target; and have had no luck in finding one yet.

I remember you said you found yours at Walmart (which we don't have here) - in what section? Was it in babycare, or somewhere else?

Thanks heaps,

Ivy.

Thanks, but that won't work: I don't have a credit card... *and* I'm trying to find one to use *now*, rather than next month, which is how long I'd probably have to wait for deliveries.

I've been looking for ages and haven't found one yet.

Hi Ivy6!

I got mine at a drug store called Rite Aid, or maybe it was CVS. I think it was in the beauty section. But you might want to check in the plant care section too -- some spray bottles are used to mist plant leaves. I would think any large store would carry some sort of spray bottles.

You can look at one that is similar to mine if you go to amazon.com and search for "WHITNEY 8 Oz Spray Bottle". I apologize if this breaks a forum rule! This is not the brand I bought so I am not recommending this one, I am providing this just so you can see a picture of a typical small trigger spray bottle. I see many brands in the stores here -- larger ones are common. The important thing is to get one that has an adjustable nozzle so you can get a strong spray rather than a mist. Fill it full so you can spray while holding it sideways.

I didn't see them on the Walmart website, but that doesn't mean they don't have them. Do you have Target? I searched wor "spray bottle" and found two. I hope you find one!
Diagnosed with Crohn's in early 2007.  Several peri-rectal abscesses and two fistulae with setons.  Allergic to Remicade and Humira.  Currently on 6MP, and vitamins D and B-12.

Yeah, we have the big spray bottles here; just haven't seen any small ones.

I have to do bowel prep in hospital soon, in a room with multiple room-mates, and a big bottle is going to be too much to pack and haul down there (along with everything else we need to haul for fistula care), *plus* is going to be a bit embarrassingly conspicuous to carry to and from the shared bathroom, if you know what I mean...

Plant care is a good idea: maybe a nursery, then.

Thanks heaps,

Ivy.
