sad
goodness, i need to stop this diarrhea! i've been going to the bathroom so much for so long - i am feeling defeated!!!

i used to take loperimide [imodium] like 4 pills every meal but since i've been on the remicade i have stopped taking it. (advice from GI)
it wasn't really working for me anymore anyways cause i was on it for so long - like 8 yrs.

i am currently trying the cholestryramine but i have a hard time drinking it and it makes me feel bloated.
i have started taking it in smaller doses throughout the day with juice - crystal light. its okay, but i am not sure if it is really working.

The only saviour i have is a med called EMTEC. and the key ingredient is CODINE which slows the BM's and it works really well for me.
It also takes away the pain - kinda like tylenol 3 but without the caffine.
I have been taking it for several yrs. now. Lately i have been taking about 2 pills a day. for sure one at bed time.

yeah I am slated for a bone density exam & a CT Scan on the 22nd and a Sigmoid on the 29th. Knife like pain is still there in my rectum quite often.
Hoping its nothing too serious, wish me luck!

(And yes I also think Kane West is a jerk for doing what he did to Taylor Swift! Whoever wins a huge award like that wins it because of their hard work & dedication and their loyalty to their fans and in turn they deserve to be recognized. He did apologize .... but he still sucks!)

Hello~
Did you know there is a form of cholestyramine in a tablet? Ask your pharmacist or dr. about this---it is way better than drinking the gritty stuff. Also, have you tried Lomotil? It works simlarly to codeine to slow your gut down therefore decreasing diarrhea
