Just wondering if you just got your Remicade infusion? I recently developed terrible leg pain and it seems to get worse after an infusion.
Current meds:  Remicade and probiotics
Tried:  Prednisone, lialda, antibiotics all failed attempts.

That would happen to me when I wasn't resting enough and when I ate to much refined sugar. That stuff causes inflammation in people with autoimmune disorders.

Heat pads and hot showers help relieve the pain. If its a small area - say thumb, wrist, ankle etc I will wrap them in a bandage after using heat just for the added support. UGH its like a lottery each morning to see what will hurt most during the day.
Good luck

This happened to me too. I couldn't even put a blanket over my ankles because the weight of it was excruciating, not to mention they were incredibly swollen. I was worried I had developed RA or something. I went to the doctor and he just said it was the systemic effects of Crohns. He prescribed me Relafen which is for arthritis and it worked awesome!

This happened to me also and it was remicade induced lupus. Defineately go see your rheumy. If you can get in and out of the tub a nice soak in hot water helps. My rheumy increased my pred to 25 mg/day and the MTX until I was feeling better. This pain rates up there with an abscess - excruciating.

Take care,
