Oh Aunty Ivy this post made me smile sooo much!! I’m at work and it just bucketed down with rain! It’s 4:30 in the afternoon and black outside, such strange weather we have in QLD!

I’m doing really really well!!! I think the fistula is starting to close, it doesn’t hurt like it used to, and it’s getting slowly smaller (it’s a big one!), and my skin tags are ½ the size they used to be. Already! AND (get this) I don’t wake up during the night to go to the toilet! Not once!! And in the mornings, I still wake up, expecting to need to ‘go’ urgently, and……. Nothing! It’s amazing! Normal BM’s! It’s almost too crazy to believe!! I even went out for Friday night drinks after work last week, and normally that would have me sick for a week, but I was fine!

I have my 2nd infusion on the 19th, and I see the surgeon on the 21st. he is going to try and take the seton and the mushroom out in his clinic but if he can’t get it out there I will have to go through the hospital and go under a general anaesthetic. I am feeling doubtful that it will come out in his office, because the skin has grown completely around it, and I’m guessing the mushroom is bigger at the top, so I don’t know how it’s possibly going to come out of its own free will!

I am really enjoying feeling so good. I am so used to going for walks during my lunch hr and then having to run and hide and find a toilet all of a sudden and double over in pain. And now, when that doesn’t happen, it still takes me aback. I know that this is a limited treatment, and as my specialist says, sooner or later the body builds up antibodies, but for now I am just going to enjoy the ride……..

How are you, Ivy?

That's awesome, Phoebe! When was the first infusion and how long after did you notice positive effects?

Oh don’t worry guys, I wont be a stranger at all, I’ve just had a really, really hectic week at work, no time to think, take lunch breaks, or go on healingwell! I will always be a regular visitor here, no matter how bad or good my health is!

I had my first infusion on the 5th, only about a week and a half ago, and I felt results the very next day! My skin tags began to shrink, fistula was not so irritated and sore and big, and my tummy, well it improved a thousand times over! No getting up in the night, when usually I would be up 2 – 3 times a night. no burning during the mornings, it was really instantansous. So I am holding thumbs I don’t get negative side effects and it lasts a nice long time for me. I did get a sore arm 3 days after the infusion, my left forearm, felt like it had been stung by stinging nettles, but went away after about 5 hours, so I thought nothing of it.
