While I know this is the CD forum, you guys are my pseudo moms lol. I'm sure you guys know that just having Crohn's and being on the medications we are sometimes on makes things a little more complicated than normal or I would just Google it :P

I get tonsil stones like crazy and have gotten to where I check for them about every 2 weeks (because that's how fast they come back). I looked in the mirror really fast tonight and saw a white spot. I groaned and grabbed a qtip and tried to take care of it like normal...until I realized that they aren't where they normally are...they are on the little nodes above it..and they don't come off :( My throat has been a bit itchy for the last few days on the right side and I'm guessing that's the cause.

I'm on Cimzia and I'm also taking Flagyl and Cippro right now so I don't know if the combination of weakened immune system + no bacteria would cause things to go awry in my throat. I don't have a fever, my throat doesn't hurt...it's really weird. I'll try to call the dr tomorrow but I doubt I'll be able to be seen any time soon. Has anyone had anything like this before? I wonder if it is like a fungus or bacterial thing and if it's something I should worry about. I hate to hassle my docs unless I have a fever but I work with clients who are all kinds of sick all of the time.

Oh I also started smoking again 2 weeks ago so maybe that has contributed to it as well (I know I know...it's temporary I promise)

love love
