My symptoms got worse when I first started taking pentasa, but it really helps me now. You may just want to wait and see for a little while. If it's still bothering you then you'll probably want to talk to your doctor and work something out. I know other people find success on its sister med Asacol sometimes when pentasa hasn't worked. Hang in there!
And, in case it comes up like it usually does, seeing white beads in your stool is completely normal.
