I have been nauseous on and off for th past 3 months; i actually vomited last night due to this.  Area any of you on rx meds for nausea, or do you use pepto or other supplements (ex: ginger) to help with this issue? thanks guys!

I actually use both depending on the severity of the nausea. My prescription that is awesome is melt away zofran (for those times I am so nausous that I cannot keep pills down), but sometimes if I have very mild nausea I just use ginger ale or sprite etc.

Prochlorperazine/Stemetil. Not sure if its available OTC but I tried about 5 other nausea/sickness meds and this was the only one that really worked for me.

Phenergen works well, but it makes me really sleepy, I don't like that. I hear zofran is better, without the sleepy, I dunno.

More natural ideas; Anything with sugar in it will help, peppermint oil, or peppermint candy can help too. Milk works well, or ice cream, if you can tolerate either one of those.
Humira 2 times a month.
Prednisone 2.5mg every other day(10/3/09)
Lialda 2 X day
Imuran 150mg day
Phenergen PRN
Remeron 30mg day

I use either Zofran or Phenergan. I am in remission but nausea always seems to be there since my resections. So I take Zofran in the mornings and Phenergan at night. Hope that helps.

I have Zofran and Tigan. Tigan in oral and suppository form. The Zofran seems to work better, but my insurance will only pay for 9 pills a week. When you are suppose to take it 3X a day that doesn't really work so well. Even as a generic it was almost $1000 if I paid for the full prescription out of pocket. So I will take the Tigan first, then if I need to I will take the Zofran. I also started stock piling it. I just fill the script every week whether I need it or not, so I have enough if a long stretch of nausea hits. I tend to have bouts of gastritis and they can last for a week or more, so I really need my anti nausea meds then.
