Well, after being frustrated over my lack of access to my current GI, I decided to try another one. It's a woman and I hope she will listen and take an interest in my case. While I was relieved to finally get a diagnosis earlier this year and the doctor was very attentive before the colonoscopy, aftercare consisted of phone calls to the nurse and they wouldn't ever see me.  I have had relentless fatigue, a positive test for Crohn's and other symptoms of Crohn's. While I don't care if I have Crohn's or not, I at least want a doc who will be responsive to my health care needs. It's what we all want, right? I'll keep you posted on what she says. I am very interested in her opinion about the prometheus lab test.

I have lost count on how many GI's I have had.  It is hard to find a good GI, let alone someone that specializes in Crohn's.  If you feel you aren't getting the attention you need, move on.  It is your body and you need to take care of it.  Good luck.
