Thiopurines and other immunosuppressants. I guess at least it's non-melanoma. BTW, does adjusted odds ratio mean the same as times, i.e. 3.28 times more likely?

I've heard this too.......on friday I got urgently referred to a skin cancer specialist to suss out a couple of dodgy areas - trying not to worry but being blonde haired, blue eyed, freckly and being on immunosupressants for a 3rd of my life including having a phototoxic reaction, I know I tick a lot of boxes.

Interesting. I've had basal cell 4 times and melanoma in-situ twice. I blame it on daily tanning in my teens, though.

I just switched to Remicade and a week ago my GI made a point of telling me that my risk of skin cancer has gone up. He referred me to a dermatologist to get a skin survery, and said I need to make sure that I keep regular visits with her. He told me to be sure to use lots of sunscreen every day, even if I'm not going to be outside much. I'm blonde, blue eyed, and VERY fair skin so I already am very liberal with sunscreen, but it sure made me be even more aware of the risk.
