I was wondering if anyone  here has used Slippery Elm and if they had positive results.  I currently take a probiotic and heard this was good for the inflamation.  Just looking for some relief!

I heard it could keep you from absorbing meds, so I didn't take it. Not sure if that is totally true or not but couldn't risk it.

The slippery elm will line the intestinal tract, and the theory is that it will slow absorbtion of other meds- which to me is logical. It is therefore best to take it 2 hours before or after your normal meds. There is no evidence of it having any sort of interaction with other medications.
