I have tried 2 get insurance and got turned down I tried 2 get a med. card and also got turned down for that.... I cant get any help anywhere. I just dont know what else 2 do!!!! I am glad you went to the ER. I was very concerned. I would say depending on your job situation keep applying for insurance or a med card(they usually refuse the first time pretty much no matter what). As to remicade they do have a patient assistance program, that can really help you out.
Honey I know you are worried about the side effects of remicade, and while I did get the lupus like syndrome, it did lead me to a drug (MTX shot) that did work the best for me. I do not want you to get in as desperate situation as I did. I hope you feel better soon.

Prednisone is very notorious for causing GERD/Gastritis like symptoms. I take Prilosec daily and that has helped me alot.

I second what Navy said, the Remicade does have a patient assistance program and is a medication that has helped many people to get relief. Good luck!
