Thanks for checking up, it made my day. ;-)

Hmmm...still having a rough bit with my liver. I don't think it liked being messed with...I can feel exactly where the catheter was and I'm a bit on the yellow side...oh joy! Not to mention, this new kink to my health is taking a while to get used to.

How are you? It seems that you are/were doing better...getting to be out and about...more social...I'm hoping this continues.

Does it hurt, Undone, or does it just feel sensitive?

And how are you emotionally with it all?

Me: up and down; still pretty knocked around from hospital but gradually improving. Still trying to catch up, which is why you don't have an email yet...

Oh, the liver is hurting...quite bad at times...but it is not quite the same pain as the crohn's intestine pain, which is intense and sharp, the liver pain is more aching/dull...

Emotionally? Scared/Frighted to tell the truth. Not a lot of info on the PSC...and most sites including Mayo state "The definitive treatment is liver transplantation...." and that most all patients within 7-10 years of diagnosis need a transplant...hard thing to wrap my mind around. Having Crohn's was hard enough...trying to look for the bright side (Life of Brian..." Some things in life are bad/ They can really make you mad/ Other things just make you swear and curse./ When you're chewing on life's gristle/ Don't grumble, give a whistle/ And this'll help things turn out for the best.../ And...always look on the bright side of life.../ Always look on the light side of life..")

When did you go to hospital? If you don't mind my asking...what was the reason? I am glad that you are improving...and hope/wish/pray that you continue to do so.

I don't blame you! I think a lack of information can be incredibly frightening to deal with. It's hard enough trying to get your head around something when you *have* information and answers, but without them your imagination can take flight, can't it?

I'm glad that the pain isn't as debilitating as the Crohn's pain. Severe pain in two separate spots would be so hard to cope with... but it sounds to me as if what you have is wearing enough already.

Hospital - will tell more in my email, when I write it :-).
