it's been since july I've start humira... and every time I got a migraine that last for a week, then I'm good for a week but then I do my humira and it starts all over again. 2 weeks ago I was migraine free, not this week.. did my humira at Saturday night, and the migraine hit me tonight.. it is so bad I can hardly be on the computer. Does anyone else have this problem? Does anyone have any suggestions? My stomach can only handle so many tyonel with codeine.

I also get headaches from Humira. It comes on 2 hours after my injection like clockwork. Fortunately, I can get relief with just extra strength tylenol.

thanks for sharing, at least I know I am human lol and not the only one suffering this side effect. To much tylenol doesn't bother your stomach? I find if I take 2 each day for 3 days I end up in the ER with a flare.

Also I take the humira about an hour before I got to bed so I can sleep most of the side effects off, like the dizzyness and feeling werid. Usually I will wake up with a migraine tho

I don't know if it would help, but have you tried one of the preventive drugs for migraines (one of the triptans) to try and prevent the onset? I don't know whether or not those are approved for people with IBD, but maybe there are other options if they aren't.

Yes, I have tired mostly all over the counter RX, the last being a pill that cost $70 and he didn't work, so I stop paying for them. tylenol seems to work the best but is just killing the stomach. thank you for the suggestion!! :)

I started Humira last week and had what I called a massive headeache (im not sure what a migraine is - could have been that) It lasted a few days and a friend suggested I take Claratyne which got rid of it. Was also told to drink lots of water the day you inject - might help.
