If you are tachycardic and unable to eat, I bet you are dehydrated.

I'm 5'5" and weighed 85 at my worst, so don't worry about your weight too much yet. I only weigh 102 now and am doing pretty good.

Good luck on your GI appointment! Hopefully you'll finally find some answers.

Hi Nebraska,

Drink lots of water!

I'm sorry your having disc problems too. I strongly suggest you go to an orthopedic doc to find the best treatment for that. I hope they can offer you an alternative to surgery, but whatever treatment you need, the sooner you can get it, the better for you.

If you have to have surgery, be sure to do all of the therapy as ordered. Failing to do the post surgical therapy, or overdoing it, is probably the most common reason for back surgery being unsuccessful.

I know what your going through, I had my first back surgery in 1986. I've only had Crohn's since 2006.

Please keep us informed. I hope you find relief very soon.

I feel a whole lot more the way I do now than I did a little while ago.

I forgot to about the hydrocodone. Like other types of meds, there are many pain killers. Tell your GI (or whatever doc you see next) what the hydrocodone is doing to you and ask them for one that is less likely to upset your stomach (or bowels).

Again, good luck.
