Well, I finally had my much anticipated visit with the arnp today. She was really good, took time to talk to me. She didn't think much about the prometheus test being positive for crohn's, btw. I am suspicious of the test being positive though and worried it will end up being crohn's at some time. But, they do want to do a flexible sig since I am not improving. They also want to do a more sensitive CT scan. I am allergic to the dye so I have to take about 100 mgs around the time of the CT scan. They said that wasn't enough to cure the inflammation though. lol.. She said that these conditions can evolve and sometimes they can't determine the colitis variety. I hope I don't need surgery but the topic did come up today. Naturally, they want to avoid that until they exhausted other avenues. I had such a miserable Christmas last year, sick and unable to leave the house for very long. I don't want another bad holiday season from being sick. Sorry for whining...... I'll keep y'all posted.
